In the past I have found a passion for working in TV via my experiences with CBBC and BBC Spotlight. I am currently pursuing my passion for TV whilst studying for my Ba Journalism degree. I have also found a passion for radio presenting during my studies, and have gained skills in article writing and content creating.

In 2017 I was a lead part in the CBBC lip dub that took place in the Eden Project; this was a fantastic insight into the life of a TV crew. I was subsequently given the chance to be interviewed live on CBBC which ingnited my interest into journalism.

A year after my experience with the CBBC, in 2018, I was a part of the BBC young reporters. I worked on an online article about the schools charity Penrice3580 - this caught the attention of the schools media corrispondent who helped me bring to light my idea of creating a short video on this topic.

My video gained the attention of BBC Spotlight South West and I was invited into the studio to talk about the work my school had done for Penrice3580. We were given a tour of the studios and had the chance to talk to the presenters. This experience consolidated my passion for journalism.

I am currently studying Journalism at Plymouth Marjon University with the aim to graduate with a full portfolio and the skill set needed to continue in my journalistic career progress.
