The senior prefect team in my last year at Penrice Academy decided to raise money for a charity close to home. We made a short informative video and organised a 24 hour event...
24Â hour event
The 24 hour event consisted of a group of dedicated year 11's who danced and rowed for 24 hours to raise money for Cornwall Hospice Care. During this event I documented our hard work through live Facebook videos to keep everyone updated on our progress.Â
This event was a brilliant (and tiring!) experience to organise and take part in.
Seas Our Future
Seas Or Future was a campaign set up by myself and two other senior prefect students with the goal to reduce Penrice Academy's plastic consumption. We, along with a group of passionate year 7 and 8 students raised awareness of the plastic pollution issue and limited the schools use of plastic.
Mind Charity
I have been fundraising for Mind Charity for 2 years and will continue to support and fundraise for this fantastic organisation. I have taken part in the 2727 challenge as well as Move for Mind and have documented both on my Instagram and Twitter.
